Bullhead Catfish Tank
(Baby Bluegill got Eaten I think)

Fish: 3 baby yellow bullheads, and there was a bluegill (got eaten)
Tank: Aqueon 55gal long, do not recommend this fish aquarium company though because my first tank leaked after I got everything set up. If you buy anything for fish tanks, Tetra is the way to go!
Setup: natural colored artificial gravel, fake plants, one big filter (aqueon), one small filter (whisper), peices of slate, and construction paper on the tank in the bottom right to stop algae growth from window light, lights, and 2 powered airstones for oxygen.

Right supplies/setup for bullhead tanks
  • 55 gallon tank good for 3 adult yellow bullheads, bigger is better
  • When babies (less the 2 inches) 3 fit in a 10 gallon but not very long
  • Airstones, you need the flow and cycle of added oxygen going through your tank constantly
  • Gravel, bullheads like to dig
  • Rocks/slate
  • Dim lighting, depends on how paranoid your catfish is, he will get more used to you the longer you have him
  • Filters, if possible more than one, these guys eat like pigs if healthy
  • Cold water, can use a heater if you want to, depends on what temperature the water is where you found him
  • water changes the right way (I will make a post on this later)
  • Put your tank where temperature remains almost the same and away from windows
  • Becareful on what fish you put in the tank, they might end up as food
